Our remarkable story began in 1994, on an island called Pulau Indah, Port Klang, Malaysia. A former fishing village in the remote part of Selangor’s west coast, Pulau Indah underwent massive land reclamation and infrastructure construction. The end-result is a megahub with a total quay length of 3.2 kilometers which encompasses 5 container terminals and potentially 4 container terminals which would give us the ability to handle 15 million TEUs.
With 62% container market share in Port Klang, Westports is rapidly becoming the port of choice for local and international shipping lines. Combining round the clock services like customs and immigration, just-in-time practices with cutting-edge technology, Westports helps customers handle and store their products effectively at lower costs.
