Our Executive Chairman, Tan Sri G. Gnanalingam is the proud recipient of the Asia HRD Congress Award 2010, which was held at the Borneo Convention Centre, Kuching on 8th July 2010. Tan Sri G was honoured for his contributions to society in the development of human resources.

The Asia HRD Congress Awards recognizes and honours professionals and leaders who have untirelessly enriched and made a lasting impact on the human capital development in an organization.

Speaking at the occasion, Tan Sri G said he was truly honoured and pleased to receive the award from Asia HRD Congress, especially in the presence of the Chief Minister of Sarawak, Pehin Sri Tan Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud. 

“This is the third human resources award for Westports. The first was Best Employer Award in 2004 and followed by the Human Resource Development Award in 2007. I believe receiving the Asia HRD Award is probably the culmination of awards,” noted Tan Sri G.
