Despite having to work round
the clock,Staff of Westport
did not miss out on the Deepavali
festivity.
Various activities
were lined up and six teams
spent two hours toiling and
trying their hands at using
coconut shoots to make the Thoranam.
This resulted
innovative designs intricately
woven together to decorate archways
in the business center foyer.
The party continue
into the evening with classical
Bharatha Natyam dances, modern
dance routines and Bollywood
numbers by the staff.
The highlight
of the days was an in-house
group paying the traditional
percussions Urumi drums.
The five-piece
band comprising container operations
staff thrilled their colleagues
with their performance. Staff
and guests were also treated
to a lavish spread of Indian
dishes. |
