Westport has honoured 21 employees who have performed beyond the call of duty.

These employees are the second batch of workers to be included in the elite Club 21. They are Azli Bakri, Rosli Zakaria, Mohd Amir Hassan,Mohd Azahari Abdullah, Razali Ismail, Tumiran Saliman, Mohammad Zidi Mohammad Noh, M.Baskar, Ahmad Ghazali Azmi, B.Suresh , Nadzri Mohd Walli, G.Kanagarajah, Shahabuddin U Mohd Noor, Hairul Rizal Ideris, Mohammad Rafie Mohammad Zahir,Sargunan, Romzi M.Yusof,K.Kunalan, Lay Soon, Sarjan Jatno and Khairunizam.

Club 21 was mooted by Westport's executive chairman, Tan Sri G.Gnanalingam, who is also the managing director of Kelang Multi Terminal Sdn. Bhd.

Apart form the 21 Westport employees, four pilots were also rewarded at the same function in Shah Alam last Saturday. Among others, the award recipients each received cash incentives of RM500 and a certificate of appreciation.

Club 21 is solely for non-executive staff. Nominations are conducted twice yearly to choose at 21 outstanding employees during that period. Westport has more than 2,000 employees.
