Kelang Multi Terminal Sdn Bhd hosted a "Sunset Fiesta" event recently for about 300 of its business associates, particularly those from the transport and logistics industries.

The event was held at Westport's Business Centre building where guests were treated to a wide array of local hawker treated to a wide array of local hawker food and Western cuisine amid a casual and relaxed surrounding at its bamboo garden.

Among the mouth watering dishes served at the gathering were satay, roti jala, grilled fish, tomato rice, curry laksa and fried noodles.

Entertainment for the night was provided by local dangdut femme fatale Leina Hangat.

A lucky draw providing prizes such as flight tickets and electrical applications was also held.

Jasbir Singh, an operations officer from Port Klang, won the first prize of two return tickets to Bali, Indonesia.

Second prize winner was operations and marketing excutive Anthony Leo, who walked away with two return tickets to Medan, while Tahit Hassan, a services supervisor, won the third prize of two tickets to Langkawi.

In his welcome address, head of container services Vincent Lim said the dinner was a small token of appreciation for the effort and contribution of Westport's business partners.

"We'd like to thank all of you for your continuous support and contribution towards the growth of Westport and look forward for greater cooperation with you", said Lim.

He said the gathering with the business associates would be made an annual affair.
